Internet Explorer 9 is out — should you download it?

By Joe Dolittle

Microsoft's new browser is now available as a released product. It contains a number of new features and performance enhancements, including a faster JavaScript engine and support for HTML5.

It has a better address bar, a feature called Pinned Sites, which allow you to pin a site to your Windows 7 task bar, just like you'd pin an application or a folder, a more secure download manager, and better tabs.

So, should you download it? Our friends at Engadget like it. ZDNet's Ed Bott seems to like it. We think it's pretty slick.

Go ahead and download it. If you use IE, you'll want to use this IE.
